It is now official, CENTURIONS GHOST has earned a well deserved slot as opener for the Swedish Doom gods at two U.K dates, namely;
11th September - Rios, Leeds
12th September - Dingwalls, London

CENTURIONS GHOST - THE GREAT WORK CD SLIGHTLY DELAYED
Due to circumstances beyond our control THE GREAT WORK will be delayed, meaning the release date of the 23: rd of April, 2007 will not be kept. The band will however press a special tour edition locally in limited quantity that they will bring with them as they take on Europe together with label mates THE GATES OF SLUMBER and Southern Lord signed EARTHRIDE. CATHEDRAL, LAIR OF THE MINOTAUR, USURPER and ENTOMBED fans rejoice! A sign of things to come was just that, here’s The Great Work! The rawness is still intact and the Doom element is preserved, meaning this is a mammoth beast of pure METAL that is picking the best (body)parts from all TRUE METAL genres and comes out the other end dripping with posers blood! Will appeal to anyone that at some point in life has given a real METAL band his/her horns-up salute!

Released 2005-09-19. Musically CENTURIONS GHOST are a critic’s worst nightmare being heralded as a Doom, Black and Death metal band and in fact, they are a mixture of all of these genre's. In reviews A Sign of things to come is often compared to the works of CELTIC FROST, USURPER, VENOM, CANDLEMASS and CATHEDRAL, having the same rawness as the first three acts and the epic, lead filled qualities of the two later. And the reviewers have been raving, Terrorizer gave the album 9/10 and it became pick of the month in SOD Magazine. Get it and get crushed!
